- Hi, Nameless (otherwise known as Espen Berntsen), on 11-Feb-96 13:48:41 you
- scribbled....
-
- >Are there some utility to hide NDOS disks on Workbench. I dont want to hide
- >a device, just whenever there sis bad disks. (like when you put a PC disk
- >into df0: the df0: doesnt show, and vice verca)
-
- Um, not sure if this is what you mean, but -
-
- MultiFileSystem (aminet:disk/misc/mfs11.lha) merges filesystems on df0:...
-
- So you'll never get pc0:???? or df0:????? on your WB whilst using PC/MAC/Amiga
- disks....
-
- It also lets you refer to the disk in the drive as df0: , and then it sorts out
- which kind of disk it is ;)
-
- You'll still get df0:NDOS if the disk is a custom game one though.....
-
- Oh, yeah it also patches format and diskcopy to handle those types of disk
- (select format from WB, and you get asked what filesystem PC/Amiga/MAC? assuming
- you have crossdos/crossmac installed ;)
